Andrés has been tenured professor of Financial and Tax Law at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid since 2010 and is a member of the Madrid bar association.
Andrés regularly works as a legal expert for the tax authorities and the law courts, particularly on national and international corporate taxation. Andrés has specialised in the international taxation of private individuals over the last few years.
He has a Ph.D. in Law (2005) and an LL.M. in Public Law (2002) from the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. He was also published in that same institution in 2002. His research has focused on international corporate taxation and the taxation of private individuals. He has published three case studies and over fifty papers on these topics in publications and collective books in Spain, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands.
